YES! PASSED SMOG!

Just wanted to let you guys know that i passed my smog yesterday. I went to modesto to get it looked at by the State Ref. It took me 3 times to pass but i finally got it. Took a lot of testing and tuning and crying LOL.. My CO% was really high ( To much gas) all because of a exhaust leak right next to my O2 sensor. LOL.. Live and learn. So my car is legal and ready for more mods and treats..... Well after the wedding.

Just wanted to let you guys know. LS1 swap is possible in CALI!!

How much of a pita was it to get it in the car? how much was it to put it in not including the cost of the engine and how many MPG are you getting. I am thinking about putting on in my car this summer.

It wasnt to bad. If i had to do again i would put the engine in first then later put in the tranny. The wiring was the hard part. Have to adapt your old harness to the new one or you can bay 1G to get a custom one for you at speartech. as far as the gas im not sure. I still need to get my speedo to work. I only drive it on the weekends. Its a pretty expensive job if your going to do it right. This is somthing that you want to take your time on and think things through
