What's up everyone - Just wanted to say hello and briefly introduce myself and throw out some "rule of thumb" suggestions before posting here in our Northern California Boards.
I'm Del, I love 3rd gens and I'm a frequent contributor here, so I am glad to be able to assist you when I can and I hope to help keep this forum flowing smoothly for years to come.
That being said, I'd like to encourage your participation in our threads and get-to-gethers, as we have established a nice core group of folks here over the past few years that share this hobby of 3rd gens.
We have many knowledgeable senior members here that are willing to lend a hand, or share past experiences, but it is important in communicating a bit about yourself in order to share the wealth.
A few basic rules of thumb for the newbs, newbies and first-timers posting here in Nor-Cal.
- Have a general tech question? Make sure to utilize your search feature and browse the Tech boards. There really aren't many things that haven't been covered, so try to find the answer first before looking for an easy out.
- Need local help/advice? Well this is the Nor-Cal boards, so you've come to the right place. However, post up some information about yourself, your ride and location, maybe even a pic to let folks know wtf is asking.
- Attempt to be courteous and intelligent, even if you are not. Nobody likes to read the ramblings of a rude and incoherent poster.
- Selling something locally? Great! Do not bump your post to the top every day and of course the items better be 3rd gen related.
2008 should be a much improved year for group outings and I hope we'll continue to grow and add to our 3rd gen family here.
I encourage you to contact me as well, but I do ask that you utilize the Private Message feature to express any questions/comments/suggestions you may have in order to eliminate any uncalled for threads/posts.
Thanks for reading, enjoy!
