Marc, I had my car all wired up ready for the accel gen 6 like Benny has, but mine has been stolen. A factory ecm isnt gonna cut it, either I need another gen 6 or a megasquirt system.

Okay, I'll give you the win. I gottta have/keep my job. Note to everyone. I am now happy/proud to be part of Rocklin Automotive. Marc is now officially my boss.

I will be there but unfortunately I will be a spectator for a month or so... Long boring story so I won't get into it. Anyone need help wrenching I will be there to help/learn.

A total of 3 runs tonight. What's with my tires smoking down the track I think my car's too fast for my tires. Pulled a time of 15.225 @ 92 mph on third try. Good to see the guys that were there. A shout-out to Vinny for kicking my a$$. I know mine can do better...next time.

So I won a case of oil & Valencia won a case of oil for beating Bennie in Bennie's 2nd round.

I had a blast, Thanks to Bennie for setting up my gears, & working on my car. I cant wait to see what the TH400 & stall will do. It was a good TGO turnout. IMO.

Next time I will take the Tahoe down the track, it's a screamer, I'm puting in 4.56 gears/cold air intake/tune this week so it's will be even better.

Looked like you would've had him but I noticed it shifted early or something.

James, I think a lot of it has to do with your tire size and type, but hell I have wider than stock and z-rated and I still blew through mine... I don't think the C6 gear lube helped much either.

Yeah Steve, I heard you were there but up in the bleachers with the little one so I missed you, no worries as I was pretty much landlocked in the staging lanes the whole time anyways. Hope you guys had a blast.

I should've made a much closer race out of it with Marc (3rdBird), but it was fun.
Think I staged too deep for that one to get the redlight.

Only got 4 runs in, but got a new best of 13.004@107.XX - 1.9X 60'.

I can smell those 12.90's.

Del, we have to race again. Im going to buy some slicks soon. I did the math just like you said and i should be 13sec flat. To much HP for those tires i guess

Great runs to all you guys that raced. We have to do this again soon! Maybe this time have a camaro night (if that is possible)

The 1st run, shifted trans in 2nd but felt like it went into OD and locked up. Before the second run, I disconnected the 4 prong connector that goes to the transmission(lock up solenoid). It shifted fine all 1-2-3 gears but shifting at 5300 rpm. Motor did not wanna go beyond 5400. On top of that the base map was to rich. I need to lean it out a little and check the valve clearance. I never adjusted them since motor was built but I checked way back in my Fair Oaks shop and they were fine then. I finally have a good data log so it's a good start. O2 sensor reading was at .782-.800.... throughout the 2nd run .....FAT.

ok gotcha. maybe someone needs to steal your gen 6, and go megasquirt like me. we can be tuning buddies!
