Yeah side cross bar, & 2 side door bars go in on Monday. The entire roll bar assy weighs 92 lbs.
I finally gutted the last few remaining pieces of interior plastic & insulation which weighed in at 30 lbs. So its almost turning out to be a wash. |

I have said it before and I will say it again, my car is not a drag car. I put more miles on that car that all of you roll caged, pulled off the insurance in the winter, trailer queen drivers.
Just because no one either a) Makes it out to the dragstrip or b) Has the balls to post a slower time than me on the "**** list" doesn't mean I am slow.
Tired of hearing about it.
With that said, glad to see more progress!

I'm just about done w/ this site, because I post a comment just as if I was standing right next to you. I'm just talking some trash & then someone takes it to the next level. This is how me & Jess got into it. So F... it, I'm done w/ it.
Vin, I meant not Disrespect, there is a difference between a track car & a daily driver. I respect that. Its all in fun. Its not like I own a Mustang, & I'm talking sh*t.
You said "always late, but worth the wait" so I was just responding to your "late" post. You were poking fun at my "super cage" so....right back at ya. |

I started my 3rd gen life w/ a $400 1991 Formula, (3rdbird). I started doing this & that, then I ended back up at the track, because I dont have the discipline or self control to drive a fast car on the street. Thats why my cars end up at the track. |

As for the rant, I guess it just happens.
BTW if Norcal is so slow, where does that put your 12.80 car? haha
Sorry I couldnt resist
I agree, we should do a "North/South Shoot Out". Although its pretty late in the season, its probably looking like it may have to happen some time next spring. Is there a track thats centrally located, so its not on either ones turf? How about The Strip In Las Vagas?

And, my 12.80 is from 2001. No idea what it would do now, I havent been to the track.
I'm trying to get something at Famoso on Nov 8th. Just waiting for the track to call me back.
Las Vegas would be nice but very expensive for both you guys and us in the South. |
