After the city had them bring everything up to code from doing some moving of stuff around plus the low attendance, they've canceled 2 of the street legal nights. So far the July 25th and August 8th races will not be happening. The changes at the track cost them about 40k which they weren't expecting to fork over this year plus the Kool April Nites people pulled their sponsorship for the street legal nights. I know it's a long haul for you guys in the Sacramento area but if anyone else closer to Redding reads this, get your car out there and have some fun! The schedule is on their site, www.reddingdragstrip.net

I'm wanting to go really soon on a street legal drag night. I just hope they don't get rid of the track. I am wanting to go pretty soon here and race my car. You want to caravan down there pretty soon?

It's looking like the next time would be August 22nd which is a Saturday. I'll ask if you can make it maybe a week or two in advance then set up a meeting spot if you wanna follow up. It's easy to get to, hit 99, go through Red Bluff, catch I-5 north, take Knighton Rd exit, turn left onto Airport Rd, turn right on Rancho Rd and follow the burnouts lol
