Got my car tuned! Car was running pretty lean at wot. Got it taken care of now. Gave the car more timming and adjusted the fuel trims. Car pulls much harder than before! I think I can be in the 12.7 range now! Let's plan another meet!

once the valve gets here, it only takes 10 minutes to do. Hopefully this damn durango sells and i can finish the formula and i'll take both.
Sucks that his mounts broke. I upgraded all my mounts while the engine and trans were out.
Awesome!! You down for TNT? We replaced all his mounts. I don't know what happened. He was getting a lot of chater with that clutch which might of broken the mounts before hand. Live and learn
I'm down, just gotta clear it with the boss. Might be in Cabo that weekend.
BTW, Joey lets put some spray on it this time.
Its worth a whole second & your motor will be just fine if we set it up.
I wouldnt mind doing it, its just that i cant fork up the money right now and plus i know i will get addicted to for sure and never want to race without it. Not unless you got something in mind..........???
I'm not using my spray stuff yet, & when I do its not going to even scratch the surface for what I'm planning to do. My engine is built to handle a 2-300 shot. The kit I have can only deliver a 150 shot before it drops off & is ineffective.
When using a nozzle in the air tube, 150 is when it ends. We are going to be using injector nozzles that sit below every injector, capable of alot of nitrous.
If you want to play with it/own it, pay me when you can & its yours.

Reason: add on
Yeah, I remember one of the old school guys on here had a 50-shot on top of his supercharger as an aftercooler, gained another .5! Fun stuff, maybe someday.
I may still come out 11-14, but looks like I have some stuff to look into to make any improvement.
Went for some tuning at the dyno recently and learned a little more. Even though my boost gauge reads 7-8psi, they only measured ~3psi. Looking for ways to reduce belt slippage. Different belt/pulley in my future most likely.
I'm also running lean in the upper rpms and no matter how much fuel was added, it was not responding. Even though the injectors are prob max'd, I would think the FMU should compensate for it. Possible voltage issue related to the alternator/Racetronix fuel pump relay could be affecting this.
So good news is there's prob a lot more power waiting to be let out, just have to find it.

well if your saying your car is not tuned, then dang man! once you get that bad boy tuned your going to fly! Looks like i got to keep up with you. Marc where is that NOS bottle
I've read about issues with the electric boost gauges, that's why I got a mechanical one. Have you checked for boost leaks? I would guess you'll be in the low 12's with a full 8psi
I won't be making it. After I fixed my boost leak, I logged a few runs and my boost control valve is in fact shot. The throttle bodies are drive by wire and when the boost fluctuates, it closes the throttle. I need a new valve and want to do some other work to it, then I will run it again. No wonder I ran so crappy.
It's looking like we should plan for a future TNT.

Yeah, I've read about a couple folks having issues w/electric, but a lot have no issues and prefer them. Electric are useful for storing peak values, or showing warnings and some say more accurate, but not in my case apparently, haha.
Other than verifying all pipes have solid connections, how can I accurately check for boost leaks?
Yep, if a 12.6 running lean up top and only 3psi, correcting some issues & proper boost I ought to be low 12's, or who knows, maybe high 11's possible.
