Camaro/Firebird? Sounds like the best of both worlds.

Welcome to the board.

The whole front end is camaro.

BTW, I saw him at Safeway close to my house last sunday late afternoon and dropped a Business card in his car. Right when i dropped the card in the driver's seat (side window wide open, this is okay in my neighboorhood). He also happens to be right there going back to his car. We chatted for a minute and told him to join the forum.

A camaro-bird? ha ha. I used to be on the camarosource.ca forums way back in the day but this place is much more lively(most of the time, at least).

Re: whats up everyone im new to this! I have a 88 Trans Am thats been modified

Hey everyone! i love the third gen camaro i have had like 3 but my trans am belonged to my best friend and he has passed away, so i decided to take the car and make it unique therefore i bought an 88 rs v6 camaro and striped it for all the parts i needed to make the conversion... it took me about 3 weeks but it came together pretty well... as for the headlights i left the stock plugs alone and made some plugs to plug into the stock ones on the trans am, wasn't to hard if you know wiring.. I wanna say thanks for everyone one checking my post out i will have pics up asap!!!

You're welcome. It's always a pleasure to meet a fellow 3rdGenner. I, too, also lost a good friend of mine last friday on a motorcycle accident. We use to hang out in my garage and talk about cars, Camaros in particular. I sure will miss him.

Hey man!! Well i dont know what the numbers are right now. But the car does feel a lot better. it pulls so much harder on top end! I used to run 12.9 so maybe 12.7 and a little higher mph. like 107-108mph We will just have to wait and see.

I always used to see him at the track pushing his little daughter around hanging out w/ you and me. I never knew him as well as you, but he always seemed interested in what we were doing, and he always had his daughter with him. Everytime I saw him, he was with his daughter. I'm sad his daughter wont be able to know him like everybody else did. My sympathy goes out to his family and friends.
