[quote=Justin1989;3974124]#40?: When you have a routine of buttons to press when parking and starting your car.
I actually thought about making a sticky note on my dash to remind me so I don't break the car. I also use an electric fan switch (constantly worried about leaving it on and killing the battery). Oh, and I need a new key cylinder for the drivers side so I have to open from the passenger side anyways.
Quotes
"35) When you know alternate routes through parking lots to avoid speed bumps.." Made sure I choose a row without 'em have to park farther away but oh well
"for the students.... when you spend more time looking at f-body parts in one day than you do doing your homework in one month." You don't know how true that is
"38) When you plan your routes according to which ones will keep you moving, instead of the shortest route, so your car doesnt overheat." Sadly also very true
When stupid people think your black camaro is a KITT. I mean come on that's happened so many times to me WHY?
) Driving on the on ramp to the highway means wide open throttle..fun!
...Tried doing this at 3/4 throttle with a healthy TPI 350, ended up doing a 180 at 80 kmph. The expressions on the faces of the oncoming motorists were priceless as I threw the car in neutral and safely reversed off the side of the highway.
My car spins when its humid, so snow is out of the question... You must be one of the %2 of people that even consider moving a camaro in the snow...
I drove my car for over 10 years in the snow, with a little planning, and avoiding a few roads, it was fun!!! But unfortunately I have not driven it in 5 years and I don't think I could do that any more after being spoiled with good snow cars!
I had a friend with a '86 Z28 w/TPI350 swap in it. He got 2 houses up the street in the snow... in an hour. The houses in my neighborhood are pretty close together. He missed work that day.
Well I really don't think that applies here in this thread. How does that driving an F body and giving fender covers to a shop have to do with it? Is giving shop new fenders covers a common thing where you live?
I have never heard of someone dumb enough to buy fender covers for a shop. Why not just keep them and tell them to use yours when working on your car?
your wrong and he is correct....it does apply.
you don't get it do you
this post was a great post with all positive coments untill you could not understand what he was saying.
other than you this was pretty cool and close to manys thoughts
great post guys....way to go
you go to buy paint at the parts store and the manager asks to see the latest pictures of your car ... or even better.... this has happened to me once or twice... the manager at the parts store has a list of things and the prices for you to upgrade your car... lol
