Head porting and flow bench testing...

Anybody know anyone in the area that does it?

I understand that I should be doing the porting myself, but that requires updating the house wiring and buying the stuff to do it. I just want to see it done first.

Porting is easy :-) Doing it while maintainting velocity and swirl is the hard part :-)

Off the top of my head, I dont know anyone around here using a flowbench.

There are a lot of articles to demonstrate porting techniques on various heads. From magazines to searching thirdgen and companies who make porting equipment.

Some things you can do without dire results, opening up the throat below the valve is always a good thing as is a general cleanup of the runner.

Study hard and port lite :-)

later
