power tour is starting in Madison WI this year and comin down through chicago into indiana and i figured its perfect for this region.
It would be awesome if we could represent TGO somehow and maybe even get some magazine exposure. i plan on goin to the racine meetup sunday june 7th. its 25 bucks to register for one day and $65 if u wanna do the long haul + u get free $hit(powertour banner and plate frame) so i thinks its worth it....
ps no trailers allowed for all u racecars...coughcough xndbl3

I'm thinking of doing the first two or three stops. Had a great time in '04 and '05. Just can't beat hitting the highway with 3,000 of your closest gear-head friends. Would love to go all the way to Bristol but too many other things to do this summer.
the power tour is something everyone should attend at least once in their life time....
tons of things to do and cars to see...
I went with my gta and my uncle went his prototype blackbird, back in '05...it was a wicked good time...we even had over night reservations at a hotel near the milwaukee stadium for the power tour on sunday...
I want to say i wanna do it again this year but only if time and if i get a new job permits me to do so...
My uncle is planning on doing the "long haul" and i wish i could do it too...
I met up with Steve (Poz) up at the show, another guy who own a yellow bird up there and a couple of 3rd gen camaros....would be great if we did represent for our thirdgen nation!

Went in 07, had a blast. I'll be hookin up in Michigan and goin the rest of the way to Bristol. There were alot of 3rd gens in 07, hope to see some of you guys there. Keep me posted if you get anything together for the TGO members....

As for the how, its very easy, give them some cheese and your registered. Took about 5 minutes for me to sign up... Now the problem is going to be your (and any other late registers) accomodations. I was told I got the last room in Sommerset KY back in January. Maybe they lied, but who knows. I also hear some other cities are filling up close to the venue spots. I am going Dayton to Bristol + a bonus day in Knoxville for TOD. As of now I am taking the Corvette but I could be swayed... the IROC needs tires but I could do that anytime.

I did the Long Haul in 2004 from Texas to Green Bay was by far one of the defining trips of my life. I cant wait to get my car done and Do it again!!
With that said I will probably hit up one or two of the stops this year.
