Scrap prices peaked last year and people were scrappin like crazy. I know what you are talking about tho..when i was 15-16 (I'm currently 20 now so that wasn't too long ago) my friends and I would go to the junkyard to just to look at the cars and there were probably 15-20 Third gens (mostly Camaros) and now that I have on one they are few and far between.
The interiors are usually trashed cause idiots throw rocks through the t-tops or the hatches. Its sad really, there was a 92 V6 Camaro with no body damage and a perfect dash pad so I ran to catch up with my friend who was lugging the tools around. When I got back the hood was bent over the roof, which didn't bother me too much, but the overhanging part of the dash on the passenger side was snapped off. I was only away from it for a few minutes and some one must have smelled that perfect condition desirable part and broke it.
Yeah, I was there a couple weeks ago and there were only 2 Camaros and 1 Firebird. Luckily, I got the wiper arm I needed but the tail light center panel was smashed in the Firebird.
You needed to go on the day they switch the cars around too if you need any fuses. Someone must go through all the cars and grab them whenever they get moved because there weren't any fuses in any of the cars when I went last time. I'm glad I stocked up a little the time before that.

If you need a tail light center section we have them available on our site.
The one I hit was the east side pull a part (www.pullapart.com). There was an almost complete 91 black Firebird and maybe 4 pieced out earlier ones that I saw (I didn't go through the whole GM section) and a few Camaros as well.

I have not been to pull a part in a while i will have to check them out.
