Last week I was in Salinas, CA and used route 80 both ways. It kinda sucks that for insurance reasons, the truck is speed limited to 67 mph because the speed limit on route 80 is 75 mph. I think I'm going back out to CA this week. I wish more people would give back but it seems that they are too greedy and only care about themselves. Hopefully my idea will be the first step to a change.

There's a guy in Effingham, IL called the Diesel Doctor that'll turn the wick up for $50. Knows his sh_it. Call him out on 19. BTW, catch a run to Orlando, will ya'? There's a nice stroker motor sitting there but it's too much to ship!

The only problem with that is. IF the truck is equipted with monitoring software like driveright, carchip, etc...
Truck isn't equipted with any monitoring software, and speed is controlled by the computer, not a big deal, but it is there because the insurance company is a dingleberry. I go to Miami in April through July when California starts to get cheap on the loads. I like going south so I can avoid the Joplin weigh station when I come back. I'm taking a week off and then I'll get my lazy butt back on the road.
