anybody running XR276HR-12 cam and have a 383?

i am curious if anybody else is using this cam and afr195cc heads as to what their dyno is. Mine won't be dyno'ed until later this week and I am curious to see what others have with their combo

Re: anybody running XR276HR-12 cam and have a 383?

I've got what is essentially the next size cam, a 230/236 112LSA, and a Miniram intake, but otherwise have pretty much the same shortblock. My dyno runs were 396 RWHP and 383 ft.lb. You should have a higher torque number by 12 to 20 ft.lb, and slightly less horsepower.

Re: anybody running XR276HR-12 cam and have a 383?

sadly i only put down 310 rwhp to the wheels....at 5000 rpms bc i didnt upgrade the fuel pump or injectors but my torque is 350 ft/lbs and is a nasty lil torque curve.....motor has 500 miles on it hehehe

Did you log fuel pressure and air/fuel ratio? Did it lean out on the top-end? You shouldn't have run out of cam for another 800 RPM or so.

Not yet. It's my daily driver so no rush. I will tune it at the track when it cools down!
