New best ET and 60' for 406 miniram

It was a good day at Englishtown for the Pontiac event. About 80 degrees and sunny.

Car went 11.77 @ 116 with a 1.56 60' time. Weighed in at 3620 with driver.

Car has a 406 with AFR 210's, solid roller cam and miniram intake. 700r4 with 3600 Vigilante converter, 12-bolt with 4.11's. Ran a 26"x10" slick.

Now to take the 700r4 out and put a TH350 in and see what happens next month.

Re: New best ET and 60' for 406 miniram

Thanks for the offer. I have a TH350 here that came out of a 1986 trans am bracket car. Hopefully that will hold up.

Yeah the car is very heavy. Actually took 60 lbs out of it over the summer doing small mods. Still has A/C and cruise control though.

You'll probably be faster with the TH350

Re: New best ET and 60' for 406 miniram

whats the specs on your cam? an AFR 210 headed 406 with the right solid roller, I'd assume, should be able to run in the lower 11's maybe high 10's even at 3600lbs?

Re: New best ET and 60' for 406 miniram

the cam is 248/248 @ 0.050 with 615/615 lift on a 110 LSA

compressions is 11.8:1

I feel the car has a little left in it yet. Hopefully trans will help along with a little looser converter
