Photoshopped!
Just kidding, 190 mph is holding on for dear life though in a d/r car.

count the cones. that's a 1/4mile pass.

i can't remember who's car that is, but he's either a BMR employee, or sponsored by BMR. stock suspension drag radials FTW!

Re: Who's car is this?

Thanks for the engine pic. I was going to say if you pause the video just as it starts, you can see the tubes going to an air charge cooler through the back window so it had to be a turbo car.

Re: Who's car is this?

not a turbo car, F3R PROCHARGER...it's still crank driven.

Re: Who's car is this?

ok, same thing. Uses boost as opposed to a NOS car but that doesn't explain the soft launch.

Re: Who's car is this?

boost controllers hooked to a bov maybe? i honestly don't know...unless he simply rolled into the throttle instead of blasting out. cause a crank driven supercharger doesn't need to "spool up" like a big single turbo does.

he could have pulled a ton of timing and added it back in as the car went down the track, much like a boost controller or progressive nitrous controller. those guys are also running high $$$ variable stall converters and crazy stuff like that (not saying this guy is, but alot of them do)

Re: Who's car is this?

when they launch a car like that they pull out alot of timing and ramp it back in as it goes down the track.

That about right, i cant imagine hooking up 1000+hp/tq on that little of a tire. the soft launch is also accredited to the PG trans and tall gear set.
