i had good luck with 19lbs, that was a 275/60/15 on a 15x8 rim. but i was a bit slower than you. the guys at www.smallblockposse.com might know better than alot of these guys (other than maybe ross and radialtireking, which i know radialtireking is on sbp)
I ran the good year radials for a short time on my car a couple years ago. My car was 3350 and running high 9's on motor at that time. I found 18-19 to work best for the good years. The other thing I noticed with the good years is they had a very short life compared to the M/T's. About 14 passes on them and they started going away. I would consider getting a set of Hoosiers or M/T's unless you have a reason for running the good years.
Are you planning on running drag radial in the RAM series?
We've been running 15 to 16psi with 325x50x15 M/T Radials on a 10" wheel @ 3100lbs. Here is a video of 15 PSI, its Coupe, but it does have a powerglide! 1/8 Mile at Huntsville 1/4 Mile pass
i dont think there is any perfect pressure.
its all about the track and the weather.
i run anywhere from 15-18 on an MT. the hoosier radial seems to like a lil more pressure than the MT, but i usually end up somewhere 18-19 with the hoosier.
What was your pressure and weather temp when you ran mid 9's?
went 9.19 147.92 but that was yrs ago with 28.5x10.5 MT slicks with a different motor. I have never run the Radial tires and was looking for a starting point. thanks
