thining about dynoing the car tongiht need some advice
car details are in sig scratch the t74 turbo for now im back down to a 51mm unit due to damaging the larger turbo
when i run at the track i pull the lockup switch connector off the trans just cause the car runs faster that way otherwise the converter locks on the 2-3 shift droping me out of my power band
now my ?'s on the dyno would it benift to have the converter locked up when we do the pulls or leave it unlocked
also the place im going to says they can do pulls from first threw 3rd gear is there any benifit to doing this as well over just a pull in 3rd gear?

From the people I talk to that have a dyno, it seems the more toward overdrive you get the more power the dyno shows. If that's what you're going for then I'd run as big of a tire as you can and lock the converter.

Re: thining about dynoing the car tongiht need some advice
both my street tires and slicks are 26 inch tall so thats what ill be running
thats another thing dyno on slicks or street tires does it really matter, the onyl thing i could see a diff in would be my draglites and slicks are alot lighter then the iroc rims and street tires
all in all i just want as acurate as possible numbers if i decide to goto the dyno tongiht instead of the track, that and i figure the dyno will deff allow me to zero in on my tune much faster then running down the track
