Hi guys! Heres my best track time as of yet. The car has alot more in it, I am sure of it. It has no posi and even with bfg drag radials it still burns out off the line everytime. I am about to swap the 1406 Edelbrock to a 670 street avenger, but this is with the 600 cfm Edelbrock. The exhaust is full length headers into a y pipe into stock pipe into flowmaster. Thats about to change. It runs rich off the line and lean at the end. I am pretty sure I know why on both accounts.
Some specs are; 1970 Lt1, torker II intake, supposed to be bored and ported, block has obviously been decked, (can see the machine work where the suffix codes are supposed to be). Mystery cam. I bought this car at a car lot and all I have done so far is have the y pipe made, accel wires, 120 amp chrome alternator and electric fan. I cant wait to dump the exhaust and get the 670 on there. I'll go to a 750 mechanical secondaries later.
The BEST part about this pass is that I whooped a brand new mustang at the same time HAH! My reaction time was horrible and I still got him. The annoucer guy was all, "It's classic Ford vs Chevy, lets see what they got!"
My reaction was .84, 60 foot was 1.9875, 330ft was 6.01, 1/8 9.2526, mph 78.18
The Mustang reaction was .519, 60 ft 2.63, 330ft 6.604, 1/8 9.7418, mph 78.08
I Win!
