having participated in atlanta, I would say go for it, but remember, its a tv show filming not a race...translation, everything is screwed up lol. just go for fun though.
I'm going to the Md one. As far as I know, tickets go on sale new years day. they had one there last year and it is a bit of a mess. no real "racing", but still fun to have your car on tv.
My son and I took his car to the one they had in St. Louis in June. We had fun but I wouldn't waist the money going to another. 4 1/4 mile passes in two days isn't my cup of tea. Although we had a lot of fun, only because there was a group of us from the same race track that went down together. Seen a lot of disapointed drivers down there, after they made the cut. If you accually do get on TV, unless you're one of the 16, it's only for a moment. I hope they keep them all a long way from here, so I don't have to go again. My son likes the 1/4 mile, but I have his car setup for the 1/8, and It's a lot of work. Just keeping two cars running is a tough job.
No FL dates this year. Oh well, I still don't have the cash for a 12 bolt. Maybe by the time the next one comes around I will.
pinks was in montgomery alabama on the 15th that was not shown on the schedule.
this will be the 1st episode aired in march.
there is a new show called arm drop love and they will be back at MMP for january 2-3 taping.
closest thing to florida.
Try having them never come to the midwest. They always do shows Texas, Florida, Nevada and Cali. Its getting me kind of mad. There are racers here in the midwest also!

They have done 1 pinks in Iowa there first season.
And KC, and Heartland Park.
Bandimere has declared they will not allow the regular PINKS format at their facility. "Nobody is going to lose their hot rod on Thunder Mountain." PAO was a kick, though.
We got one in Ennis and Belle Rose ain't to far neither. My son and I will go and watch but I don't think we'll run, the tranny is slipping in 3rd and I don't see getting it rebuilt by TCI before the race dates.

Went to go register for the Michigan Pinks all out and it sold out a 7:03. The damn thing sold out in 3 minutes. I was there at 7:10. Guess I have to be faster next time. Can't wait for the 2010 season though
There is a Florida date... sorta...
Bradenton Motorsports Drag Strip, December 19th / 20th...
But it's not "Pinks", it's "Arm Drop", but it's still Rich Christensen from Pinks...
No filming... I think they do stuff to try on the show, not sure about classes or prizes, but I'm gonna try and at leat go see
No Missouri? I went to the one in STL last year..Oh well my turd still not done..My goal was to get it done and run at KCIR or Gateway..but gives me a notehr year to get it done right..

I've been watching the show for a little while but my older brother has been a die hard fan since day 1. I built an S10 w/a .040 over 350 back in '99 for him. He used it to work construction for a couple of years. Then it came back to me for more serious updates. Carb, cam, suspension, stall, exhaust, ect. Its still not a diehard race vehicle but he wants to do a PINKS AO show. Im just trying to get my car finished to run Orlando this year.
