Well most people don’t like these cars cut up but I did my car a favor by cutting it up. When I bought it was striped to the bone. Funny thing is that I only run a 28 x 11.5 tire. But have room to go bigger if I want to or when I have to 100_4190.JPG100_4191.JPG100_4192.JPG
Looks great, did you do it yourself or did a shop do it for you?

if i wanted to run 33x10.5w would i need to backhalf my thirdgen?????
nope. I've got a big enough hammer. While we're at it I know how to make the stock rear hang in there as well.
(if you weren't being sarcastic, sorry, I am)
profootbrake - that looks really nice man. Did you guys do the bead rolling or use a tin kit? I painted all the tin in the new car black. I had enough polishing with the last car for a lifetime.
my car has a 15x10 with 6.5" BS and a 275/60/15 tire. i have already done some major hammering and just had to go back in to cut the bumpstops off so the suspension could articulate well enough without them hitting the inside of the wheels. i also now have some offset adjustable chromoly lca's so that i could run a larger tire later. i want to be able to run a 295/65/15 later on once the car is making more power and still be able to tuck all of the tire under the car.
here's a coupe of recent shots with the motor in the car so it sits at the correct ride height:
