New personal N/A best last night
just got things sorted out with my car and decided to go for the gusto: go to the track. I got one pass but i smashed out a 11.66 @ 117.11 with a 1.59 60'. thats on dr's.
I overrevved the 1st to 2nd gear and i forgot i had to grab the lever on the new shifter so i rev imited 2nd to 3rd gear shift.
it has 11.30s in it once i install my underdrive pulleys and shift properly

Congrats good run. Going to the track and trying things like intakes ,carbs ,timing ,jetting and so on and you will keep chiping away on the et.

Re: New personal N/A best last night
just went 11.44 @119. 1.59 60' again.
i shifted at 5k on the 1-2 shift by accident. it easily has 11.20's in it.
Im getting a single plastic seat now and taking out both heavy ones i have. I also just went to true dual 3" exhaust thats mandrel bent.
I honestly think i can pull a 10 sec all motor pass if i get a really hard hook which would blow my rear.
I need to add one more inch spacer on the carb and i think it will do a 10.99 if i get like a 1.50 60'

you might gain a bit by putting some cut outs in it. the electric ones are so convenient...but they're a bit pricey. congrats on the pass.

Not bad, that combo should go quicker on the 60 foot thats for sure. I had 1.55's not even trying hard. drag radials may not be as sticky as my ET streets tho

Your rear end holding up?
I think I can poop out a 10.99 all motor pass

NICE! congrats. Sounds similar to my setup as well. What size gear are you running? How much compression?
