I raced my car this weekend for the first time at an auto cross event in Medford Oregon. My car was classed in the OSPO class and I took second place for my first time out. I have six more races to finish wish me luck!
Nice! What's been done to the car? Are you running slicks or street tires? I plan on trying mine out next month. Looks like I will be running in the SM (Street Modified) class. Got any pics or video?

must be a class they came up with on a local level. i have autox of and on for the last 30 years. it is a blast! i am entered in the pro solo in wendover ut. in 2 weeks co driving a friends integra in SM.
after looking at your car domain page , i understand the classing lol, but its really more of a prepared category car. thats where you would be classed locally here . we have some real by the rule book people around here. ya ask them a question , and they start quoteing the rule , while they grab it out of their back pocket to show you also.

Yeah should have been in c prepared but Tech Lady put OSPO on entry form. Had they classed me in the CP class I would have won the event. Oh well turned some heads anyway. You said that you looked at the site of my car, don't all street cars need to be lightened up a little? LOL I tried to build to the very edge of our class but some body must have been nervous about me being there.

You have contested your classification then, after seeing how your times were comparing.
I did that the first time I took the 92 RS out....I was reclassified & won the class I SHOULDA been in.
