new best w/T56 10.6 @ 134, not so impressive though.
Decided to run the TA after work today at local track and wanted to spray it..
Every pass blew tires off first and second, dropping mickeys from 15, 14, 13lbs. Best 60ft was 1.70 due to n2o killing traction, also running out of gear at 1000 mark shifting into 5th on 10.6 pass. Not mad about, no prep, first time racing car since 1.5 years and first time spraying at track with t56. Car has bested 1.5060ft na and hope to beat that.. Should be able to get her down a good bit.. Passes were 10.87 - 1.85 60, 10.66 1.75 60ft, third and last pass 10.81 - 1.70 turning on
n20 in third gear, it bogged when I turned button on initially...Not a record breaking day really, It was fun though to get it back out.
Also new best for Vega last weekend 9.14 @ 149.. Still dialing in though.

man track must have been horrible for that kind of 60ft's for that fast of a car
gonna be back bottom 10's (maybe crack the 9s) once you can get a little bit of prep

Mickey radials or other? The radials are very picky about manual transmission cars. It's takes a lot of suspension and clutch tuning to get them to work well.
.2 in 60' would put you at low 10's out the back door though, that's pretty solid.

They are et streets, as mentioned car has 60ft 1.50 slipping clutch with 10 bolt still, there were only about 30 cars that showed up - they did not prep once at all. Should go low 10 if I ever get to drive again, most race days are for the Vega, so only extra time do I race this car.. As said also it was spinning hard throug second as well, so track was killing it.

I would think its a stock T56 or one with mild rebuild with stronger keys. I decided to not do a T56 swap since i didnt want to pay 1800 for viper rebuild to handle the power i planned on running but so far soo good for you
Nice runs, glad to see that car is up and running again

Thank you guys,
T56 is totally stock lt1 with bronze shift pads and steel 3-4 shift fork.. Car was also 100% street trim 93 octane.. Bullydog, yeah 87 was totalled, this combo has gone 10.07 with auto, so long way to go yet but should be able to get it close.. If I get traction I will throw more to it, but right now about 125 shot is all its getting. Here is a link to a vid I made of, also some other random videos there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owRTbv7DvjA

Thanks man,
I be running the Vega today, calling for high winds though. maybe tail I hope..
Still trying to work that car down, inc timing from 37 to 40 last weekend and picked up a tenth.. May try some jetting today depending on wind conditions.
Got in to 9.14 leaving at 3000rpm, any more than that its hitting wheeling bars to hard and unloading tires.
You should come over just to keep yourself engaged in racing and motivated to finish that beast..

Good to hear, cuz when i went down to jeff's, rt 22 was shut down where it merges to north 60. Traffic everywhere! They detoured up 79 to rt 60 exit and then backtracked to robinson. Took like 3 hours to get there. I left at like 11:15 and didnt get home till 3:30 and I didnt stay long at jeffs! I told him about your cars so far and he was impressed.

Here is a vid of 9.20 from a few wks ago. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRjQ6...e=channel_page
also a pic of new tow vehicle.. I am happy with the MPH for sure, it has more still I think, window switch comes on at 4500 and off 6400, gonna lower the 4500 to 4300 and off 6600, and extend limiter to 7000, and if I get a 27" tire should be able to stay in 4th gear. And wait till the prep to get those 60s back down, even if it were hooking in second would improve alot, I figured it would be a problem, when I tested on street in third it was spinning the mickeys alot then, can't wait to thor more to it...
Badgta, its a stock 400 block, cast crank, 11:1, afr 195s, miniram, solid roller.
