changing from 69 jet to a 67 jet in the primary led to .2 slower times. But it runs better on the street. Is it possible to have to lean the primary jets and richen the secondaries? or should I just change it back?

Did you change the jets at the track and do back to back runs? If not and the runs were on different days, then I wouldnt go by those results.

leaning out the primarys helped driveability, but leaned out the overall mixture enough to kill some power..... Now richen up the secondaries a little and see what happens.... Now you will get full power and better fuel economy...
Getting ready for racing season, heres whats been done new for this year:
Fiberglass cowl hood
Weld rims pizza cutters and L60s
Drag shocks and struts
SFC's
Tubular Adjustable torque arm and RLCA's
Autometer tach and shift light
I dyno tuned this thing last year and got the carb and timing all set up right.. I'm going to put gears in it just not sure what to go with there is a 3.73 ten bolt on craigslist I might check out, or should I just buy gears 3.90s or 4.11s???
You lost weight with the skinnies and hood, but added with the sfc's. The good new is most of the weight you lost was off the front. Plus less rolling resistance with the skinnies.
The LCARB's should help with the 60ft also.
I would get some runs in and compare the et/mph before changing the gear.
Well I kind of want to change the gears anyway just not sure what to go with. I might relocate the battery to the trunk too. Racing seasons almost here cant wait to get some runs in.

With the new et/mph, we can help you pick out the best gear for your setup.
It all depends on you tire height, 60ft, mph, current gear, cam rpm range, and what rpm you are at when you cross the line.
