I had one of those BG filters. It's good to see you have it mounted properly.

All filters have a larger surface area on the outside. Fluids enter on the outside of the filter and exit from the center.

Your fuel pressure regulator mounted on the firewall is a no-no. It needs to be at least 6" away from the firewall.

Where is your power source coming from? Mounting the breaker beside the pump will protect the pump but the wire from the power source to the breaker can still short out.

I run my regulator off the strut tower, ideally the regulator should be inline with the carb or in front of the carb, never behind it.

After going through a few of these, if you plan on street driving it, it WILL burn up. Aeromotive was actually suprised/impressed it lasted as long as it did after i told them how long i had it installed and running at the track, but more so on the street LOL!! So after the second one i listened to them and went to the A1000 instead and 2 years later, still going great..but if it's track only, obviously you'll be fine since that is what it was designed for, not continuous duty.

Where do you have the bypass line mounted off the pump? Definately fits the overkill button for just about every car i've ever see posting here LOL!! but i like having 1 fuel pump for anything i want to do engine+power adder vs a second fuel system.

the only way ive heard anyone run the a2000 on the street is with their fuel controler to step down the power to the motor at low rpm use.
i use the a1000. and its a awsome pump.
cant blame you for the price you paid.

yeah, i was not sure of the limit, that is why i have soo much extra hose there. thanks for clearing that up. and for the filter, i looked at it for 2 sec and could see the right way to do it. the pump will be happy now. the guy i got it off of had duckt tape holding things on, and said it leaks horrible! i put a 5 gal jug thru it no issues lol ill snap a pic of my power stuff later. i have a nice relay board that i made, and the fuel pump goes bat-switch-relay-fuse-breaker-pump
