Re: tire and wheel size

go to the bottom of this section of the forum and look for the post by stage20 that is titled "295/65 dr mounted up." I would say that this is the biggest tire you can reasonably fit. he has wheels with a special made backspacing but i think it is worth it because it looks so good.

If you didn't find your answer already on TGO, that's because you didn't look.

It is asked WEEKLY!

I've started my own thread about this topic, for specifics on a 315 tire, just a few months ago, so I KNOW it exists.

a 28x10.5 tire will fit under these cars pretty good without major beating and banging. Most don't go more than 5.5" back spacing with a 10" wheel. I run 9" wheels with 5" back spacing and a 29.5x10.5 tire. Had to do a little work to make them fit but nothing major.

Re: tire and wheel size

like stated before me, 28x10.5 fits without too much trouble, also running a 9" wheel with 5.5 back spacing...10" wheel with 5.5" backspacing looks nasty to me but for each their own...
