alright ive asked this before but im going to do it again since now ive fixed all the little issues i had when i ran the car before. my last time at the track the best i ran in the 1/8 was a consistant 9.7 at around 77-78mph. the car was in horrible tune at the time. was way too rich at wot it had a stock converter and i found out later that the outer ring on my balancer had slipped so i had no clue what my timming was but it was also a tooth off. found out the throttle cable was too long too and was only allowing me to go 85-90% throttle. i have now since fixed all those issues and now have a 3500 stall. the car runs and pulls much better and definately launches a lot harder. im hoping to run in the high 8's after some tunning and if i can get ahold of some sticky tires.

Need more info on the car, weight engine, trans, gears and induction would be a good start.

Sorry bout that my sig isnt too in deth on that car. Its a 82 ta hardtop no options prob 3300lbs give or take with me in it. 305 .030 flat tops 416heads with "z28" valve springs screw in studs and guide plates been shaved a little stock thickness headgaskets. Summit 1103 cam 214/224 442/465 @0.050 1.6 roller rockers edelbrock performer rpm intake edelbrock 1406 carb. Hedman lt headers into custom y.no cat with 3.5in i pipe then cutout rin over axle into stock 4thgen muffler. Thats kinda what im hoping. Last time out with it running horrible and no converter best i got was like 2.3x. Yeah mw66nova this motor was sorta a copy of the one you ran way back when lol. Now that everything is working well together and since the stall went in im in dire need of some tires. Selling the 17s this weekend hopefuly and the worn out 235 hoosiers on my 15s spin from a 20mph roll lol.

the combo is nearly identical to the one i had running 13.0x's. the only real differences i see is that i was running a 700r4 and a 650 double pumper...but my converter flashed to 4K.

Yup i remember that combo lol hopefully i can get close to the same results if not no biggie this motor is just here to get me around until the 383 is done and to get the car setup.
