Back to track w/t56, N/A this time 11.21 @ 123

Since being kicked off track, decided to go N/A.. Put some weight in car with completing interior, heavier wheels and full exhaust - generally used to pull muffler. Very humid night, I would guess DA in 4000 range, been having trouble teaching myself to dump clutch since 12 bolt install - first pass went for it at 6000, spun like I was on ice, hardly even wanted to move. Got out and back in to run 12.0 @ 120, 2.2 60ft! Second pass air frot ET Streets from 15 to 13.5, left at 4000 , spun then bogged 1.69 - 11.43 @ 122, by this time hearing everyone complain of traction, guess they just striped track, everyone having issues.. Third pass reduced air psi to 12, came out at 5500, now slipping fast initially to transfer, then dumping - 1.54 60ft, 11.31 @ 122.. Last pass of night pulled another lb to an all time low in the et streets ever for me, came out at 6200ish, spun hard but kept rpms up well, 1.61 60ft, 11.21 @ 123.. Car has 60ft 1.501 best prior with 10 bolt, air really sucked but my shifts are really back now, no drop in front at all.. Once 60fts are back should hit high 10 again in good air, then will spray again to 10.1/2s.. Replaced the flowmaster single 4" with spintech, don't love the sound right now, but its ok..

Should have said something i still have that Split Flo! Any difference in power? I would guess its not noticeable if any.
I got a 99 TA now, I would have came out if I know you were out there

Good runs man, glad to see your shifting is there, just need to wait till fall air. That car will touch 10's on motor again. My turbo motor should start this weekend if all goes well. Some minor issues to work out that possibly will hold me back til mid next week from driving the car but we'll see

I can't say there was a differance in power, but its louder outside and actually quieter inside.. They swear there will be no lost power, but I would say it lost 1 mph, I will see when good weather ever comes along..
I though of mailing you, did not want you thinking I was just telling you to video me or anything. Shifting felt awesome, had a few guys watching runs and thought car was an auto. Pulling 4th a tad slow still, the angle still not feeling right yet, so pulled a little cautious not to yank into second..
Still need some more tire, want to go 27's now, we will see.

I can't wait till your beast is running, can't believe its almost time - I wanna see it!

yeah 27's would probly work ok on that car. 28's be better for the spray setup but 27's good overall n/a numbers. What do you cross the line at? You were going into 5th with the nitrous, so i assume your still in the mid 6k rpm range on motor in 4th?

I had a set of 27 et streets i was gonna put on but my neighbor down the street wanted them so i sold them to him. May put the 2.73 rear from the TA in the camaro and put the 3.42 rear from the camaro in the trans am. On mid/high boost i should be trapping faster than I did last year and 3.42's were good for that motor since I could spin to near 6800 rpm. Now i dont wanna go over 6500, as peak should be 5800-6000.

Surprised they didnt say anything about you not having a cage for those lower 11 second passes. Thats moving pretty good still, and needs a roll bar
