Video would be so much better but I did manage to gain a little information from the pictures. I went into my browser cache after viewing the pictures to capture the large ones. I can still only blow them up just so much before losing quality.
I can see a good wrinkle in the tire but it's not perfect. The wrinkle should be a little more forward so I probably need a little more air. Those only had 7 psi in the tires. The rim isn't being driven into the ground so I'm still not hitting the tires hard enough either.
I also see the MT on the tire when it's at rest then it's over 3/4 of the way around the tire just as I'm pulling the front wheels. You can then see it rotating forward in the next few pictures. There must still be at least a 1/2 turn of tire spin before it hooks up.
My 4-link IC is just below the neutral line and I can't see the back end of the car squatting or rising as it launches. If it is, I can't see it. I may move the IC forward a little bit more to get more squat.
Estimating length by car wheelbase and the distance on the dividing cracks in the concrete, I can estimate the front tires come back down roughly 30' from the start line. There's 2 pictures in a row that show the front end at the same height. With the front suspension fully extended, the wheels are still about a foot off the ground. I don't even have a jack that could lift the front end that high
No wonder everyone comes up to me after a run and say they love the car. I guess I burned a few eyes on that run also. There must have been about 100 people along that side of the burnout box. Someone posted in another forum that my alcohol fumes were so bad that eyes were watering. The car was running pig rich but was making good MPH.
