Congrats man that is haulin the mail. Just wondering you said 275/60/15 which would mean probably a street radial right? The picture you posted doesnt look like a 275/60/15 street radial though. Just wondering what your 60 foots are on the 275/60/15. Congrats again though.

Re: Got my frist 8 sec slip

also looks like more preload needs to be added to the anti-roll bar since it picked the tires up unevenly from that pic angle at least.

Re: Got my frist 8 sec slip

If I can ever get down to a sea level track, I might be able to get an 8 second timeslip. I could also throw a NOS system on my engine and do it at altitude

Re: Got my frist 8 sec slip

Anyways, 8.80 seems very good for such a heavy car, over 3500lbs! My DD weighs 500lbs less then that!

Yea, That was a LONG weekend! I think the Goodyears would work if I had put in more air. It would seem that a car this heavy you need a bit higher Air PSI (20+) The Air factor was 1400 ft that run. This was my frist full pass on the car with this motor. I am sure it will go better at some point. I am still learning what it will like. Ed Quay has been Huge in getting the car set up. The car only hit a 1.36 60 ft and just barley pulled the tires up. The car with the old 477 cid went 1.28 60 ft(9.19 @147.92 MPH only 3380 lbs) with a lot less HP....So I will be trying my best to chop away at the 60ft. I would think Mid 1.20's should be able to be had with the current set up. I have never run any of my cars up on a MT top But I know the NHRA has a factor they use to compare to sea (0.0 FT) Cecil is 347 Ft above. I am sure you can look it up. I was Just very happy that the 3 yrs of Building and planning actully all came together and Ran the E.T I had in mind and had a little extra MPH than I had thought. Thanks Guys!
