Here's my 11.90 run

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJ2TnXSroAA

then next run was an 11.51 @ 124. Engine has a miss at 5500, I think its the dwell setting on the computer. Hopefully we ID the prob & correct it and are able to get a smooth RPM sweep, then add the bottle.

Re: Here's my 11.90 run

Thanks, but I've been chasing a stutter at 5000 rpms, the tach jumps around & its hard to pedal through it. I think we might have found the problem (i hope) the dwell setting on the program isnt long enough.
Might sneak out for tomarrow for high school drags & see if that fixes it.

Re: Here's my 11.90 run

Very nice. Definately need a converter and some gears. 3200 stall and 4.10's and low 11's are easy.

Re: Here's my 11.90 run

Its got a 5500 stall converter, & 373 gears. No transbrake. Were running 11.4's @ 126. When the miss is corrected it should be high 10's, then we add the bottle.

Re: Here's my 11.90 run

Oh. From the vid it sounded like you just hit third right before you crossed the traps. And I guessed you eased it out of the hole?

What size tire you running?

Still, 11's on motor is a great time! I'm just making the 11's on a 100 shot. Ha, my shift light used to blind me the last 100ft before crossing the traps in third with 700-r, 2800 stall, 26" tire and 3.73's (5500 light)

The nitrous is the icing on the cake. Good luck.

Re: Here's my 11.90 run

Yea, going thru the lights at 5000 in 3rd, engine is missing, & I dont want to change the gears, because the nitrous off the line should make up for the gear, Thanks for the input.

Thanks for the input, but we're FI'd & data log'd, so we can see AF, RPM,TPS, voltage, an a several other things too, but we cant see dwell, thats a pre programmed setting, thats what we're hoping is our problem.

Its taken a long time to get things right, & we're close. Its funny I talk to some of the fast guys at the track and they feel their way thru tuning w/ no data log or weather station, & i think if you cant see it, you cant correct it.
