My first pass of the night was a 13.028@104.23. I was a little slow off the line 1.979 60ft (first time out since last year),then after waiting for hours due to clean ups I finally was able to make my second pass at 10:58 pm. I nailed a 1.856 60ft. with a 12.710@106.14. I'll be posting vids and timeslips soon.

Here's the vid of the 12.701 run. My first run of the night was a 13.028@104....
Haha, that was you? I remember seeing that car over @ e-town. I initially thought that I was going to see a swapped 3.4 into a purple third gen, but either way, just like the video guy embellished at the end of the video; "yes, yessss". Nice runs. Should be headed back there tonight, will be looking out for you. By the way, what are your mods...?
looks like i finally have a reason to get my car back on the track, i set my time on the 3.1/ small turbo @ 9 psi and havent been back since i put the 60-1 turbo on

Nice! You should head over there later tonight, take advantage of the cold air. It's prolly going to be mobbed though, but with any luck, nobody will oil down the track and you'll get your full three passes. I'll be looking out for ya either way....
Running 15lbs of boost. Yeah get that car fired back up! I promised the wife I would quit after getting in the 12's but it's so addicting.
57 trim t4 right???
i have some pics i gota get u so u can see some cyl head mods, if u can copy them from the pics u can get the boost level down into the 9psi range and still run as fast,

what cam u running btw? 260 grind ?
Would like to see those pics. I did my own porting and polishing job not too long ago. I'm running a 60 trim t4. Cam is a Delta custom grind.
ok and dont have any really good pictures but this should be enough to get u on the right track, when i port another set of heads ill get better pictures
first up stock for comparison( intake port on the left the bowl has a lil work to it already in this pic)
now this pic shows the amount of material being removed from the valve guide and bowl areas, not real good pics for the ex side though( real ruff cutting to start)
guides should look like this once cleaned up and smoothed (this isnt a finished picture but close)
use a long tapered carbide for the ruff cutting, and a small taper carbide, and the ball carbide for finishing up the bowls/guide area. then after go with a 60/80 grit taper/stright paper roll to finish the surface
the port entrances u can take alot of the vanes on the floor but i need to get good pics of those.
i belive i have better pics and finished pics all around ill have to look for them

Thanks for the pics. That's just about what mine look like except you took off a little more on the intake side. I like to leave a little more metal around the valve guides.

yeah i took off a lot of material, but there is stil plenty around the guide, and it works well, what u cant se ein thos epics is how much i taperd the whole guide down were it goes back into the port runner.
the ex sides are cut back around the guides the same way i just cant find the pics of it right now
