| Re: Goodyear DOT Drag Radials i've heard lots of bad things. in a stock or mildly modded car, they'd probably be fine, but if you wanna run low 10's or quicker, they'll just wad up and blow off cause they have such a soft sidewall. with a heavier car, they're just not ideal. M/T and Hoosier has their heads on straight about a drag radial tire.
Rich Maitre got Goodyear to sponser his drag radial class a few years ago and the class was mandated to use the tires. it was an n/a class so it's not like they were low 7 second cars, but most were mid/low 9's and they had a terrible time with them. i watched as SEVERAL cars destroyed those tires off the line and nearly go into the wall.
