Not bad at all man. nitrous + rev limiter is not good though.

- You might look into stage20's car, similiar over-all set-up.

Yep I agree with Shagwell on the rev limiter deal. Broke a trans and hit the limiter on nitrous cost me three pistons bent the ring lands.

Believe me the limiter was not part of the plan (time for a gear swap). The window switch turns off the spray on the limiter. I don't think stage20 will appreciate you putting me in the same sentence with him, his wheels and tires cost more than my long block LOL.

haha. your a funny guy!

just by glancing at the numbers, seems it should be getting down a lil bit quicker.
the rev limiter thing is a no brainer.
what converter is in the car?
with that 3.06 1st gear and a 4.10 gear, your car should be getting the hell out of dodge off the line if its hooking up good.
with my 6.0, id cut 1.51 on the motor and run 6.90's
100 shot it would go 1.42 and 6.50's at 105.
this is with a 5200 stall and a 3.70 gear at the time. converter was built for motor, so i know it wasnt optimal for the bottle.
car was 3450 raceweight on that setup. 275/60 MT radial.
whats it short time on motor?

This converter is super tight (prob to tight ) it will only do a high 1.5x - low 1.6x on the motor. The track we were at is not known for great prep so thats the reason for the delay on the initial hit in the first vid. Here is a vid of no delay on the hit. It spun. lol

If i didnt have so much invested and the damn LS slave cylinder wasnt such a POS for the 6 speed, i would have gone with a 6.0 instead of the 461 build, but in the end, i think it will pay off with a procharger.

Car runs HARRRD man, do agree the 60 should be lower.

- with that kind of attitude I think you'll do just fine around most anyone on here.

Hopefully the motor will get up on the converter a little better with a steeper gear; between those two (gear & converter) is probably where you'll find more. - Still good numbers though, good luck with it!

Re: Carbed 6.0 LSX IROC-Z 10.22@130 vid

i have found that you dont need a lot of gear with the ls motors and a 3 spd.
i went from a 4.33 to a 5.00 and slowed the car down a tenth and 2mph.
still toying with a tranny. ive got a 4.22 gear in the car now and its back to running the same. but im going to a powerglide. it MAY slow the car down, so i might have to put gear back in it.
watch your gear with the 3pd. dont put to much in it.

Thats some good runs. I've followed ur progress for a while. You need to seriously consider getting rid of them junk LS1 heads or do some porting to them.
