ok, picked this thing up on my way back from a wedding this weekend...i'm done spending money i think. i gotta do an oil change on the car, and i really need to swap the 4.30's back in, get the slicks on, and i think i'm ready for action...just gotta wait till after the move before i can get to a track again :/

Re: down, but NOT out
That looks like a nice little gathering.
Might i ask why you retain the 4 corner steam pipe? I had only one from all the motors i have had. I always run the regular front steam pipe.
BTW, just ran the charge and ground cable on the mustang, sure was different. I grounded the battery to the trans tail shaft. Wonder if anyone has a objection to that? I figured since it is directly connected to the engine there was no sense in running it any further up.

Re: down, but NOT out
got the oil pressure issue fixed with a 5 dollar o-ring and a little luck. during reassembly, the shims got stock in the relief piston next to the spring, which wouldn't allow the piston to move, causing the pressure to spike. took the new melling back to the store and all is good now. hoping i can get it to the track the last weekend in june, but need to come up with some moolah as i am now unemployed, and homeless, lol!

What the heck? Hate to hear that. Im sure you have family to fall back on. I am the opposite, everyone falls back on me, so i hope i never see any of that, i have dealt with more than enough.

i don't think i need anything else. i've poured over the NHRA/IHRA books, but i could have missed something.
