First time with Turbo combo to the track. Need some estimates.

Here's a quick rundown on what my friend and I have built over this spring. I will be running this on E85 and will start at 5 PSI and work up to 15 PSI. What do you guys think it'll do? I'm more or less shooting for peak MPH at this point.

91 Firebird Formula
0.040" over 350
10:1 comp --> hence E85
Forged pistons / Stage II rods / Stock crank.
215 cc intake Dart Iron Eagle Platnium Heads, 64 cc chambers
Victor Jr intake (being changed from Performer RPM)
650 holley dp that's going to be modified for blowthrough and E85 by me
Clevite flat solid cam ~0.530" lift ~246* duration @ 0.050" 110 lsa --> not optimal but it is much milder than the specs show and besides swapping the cam is more $
T56
centerforce DF

GT4294 turbo from a CAT C12 68/94 comp 82/75 turbine with a 1.28 a/r T4 turbine housing swapped onto it --> certainly the compressor is too small but for free who cares

JGS 50 mm wastegate
RPS 50 mm BOV
stock manifolds modified to run 2.5" crossover.
Homemade carb hat (3" piping)
4" downpipe through my existing 4" exhaust.

Mallory 4309 reg
Walbro 417 lph E85 pump

I will have some seat time on the back roads before we bring it to the track. It will be running well by the time the track opens in May.

Even 1000 HP couldn't run an 11 second 1/4 mile if it can't get the power to the ground. You could give us dyno HP and race weight and we could give a rough estimate of what it might be capable of but the final results will still depend on traction and how good the track is prepped.

I think the 3.73 gears in the tiny 10 bolt diff will fail before you see the real potential of what the car can do.

After looking at nitrous and superchargers lately, it's crazy to me people build these high horsepower forced induction setups with a cast crank. 10:1 compression, 15 psi, probably 6500-7000 rpm and a cast crank? Is that doable?

Competition between cast crank and 10 bolt to see what goes first?

Its possible, esp blow thru carb and e85

Hell i got 24 psi thru mine on pump gas alone at 9:1 comp, which i didnt think was possible

I was making enough power with a 383 and cast 400 crank to push me into the high 11's at 118 mph. A stock rod bolt failed before the crank did.

I've not seen a crank failure yet...usually rods seem to let loose before cranks.
