photo shoot

This is the first time I have ever had any professional photos taken of the car.

Here is a little teaser. Looks like we will have some sweet shots all edited by the first part of next week.

Re: photo shoot

Looks similar to one shot I got while sitting in the water box waiting for something to get fixed on the track. Sun was setting behind the mountains and reflecting off the underside of the clouds. The only bad thing about my photo was all the spectators along the barricade.

My flat black car is hard to photograph and had no artificial light illuminating the unlit side of the car. Still looked good but not as good as it would have if there were some diffused lighting. The lighting sort of helped as my car isn't going to win any show and shine awards. It wasn't set up or staged. Someone just saw a good photo op and took the picture then emailed me a copy.

I did some editing with my picture to make an 8x10 to hang on the wall. Kept the flames in color and B&W the rest of the pic. That way you don't notice the background as much. You could do that with your pic. Keep the red paint and B&W the rest of it.

Re: photo shoot

strippers and the car really seems like a great idea to me but....the wifey prob would not be to happy. lol

I cant wait to see what kind of editing the photographer comes up with for the rest of the shoot.

Re: photo shoot

Very nice. I love the pics with the lightning and purging the NOS. Hell, they're all great. Daughter is dating a professional photographers son.......maybe I can get a shoot if I have her in it.
