91 camaro racer

i just found a pair of v6 springs out of a 83 camaro with a 2.8L that i have had for 6 years. right now i have the stock 91 rs 5.0L suspension in my car.

would there be a big enough benefit to warrant swapping them out? this is in a street / strip car. i have heard that it can help with weight transfer. from what i have read the difference in spring rate is about 40# different.
