Custom. I used fog and driving lights and some spacers to rise them up high enough. I also used 100 watt bulbs for some extra light, plus 100 watt bulbs in the fog lights.

Fog lights and driving lights from various places. It was a set of fogs from a local Car Audio place and a set of driving lights from Walmart. The brackets were just some scrap I had.

I remember them, and this is going WAY back now eh Doug, us driving past the airport out here and I was driving in front in that reliant.
it was like 11pm and the inside of my car looked like daytime, I tried never to drive infront of you again the whole rest of that trip
those were some REALLY bright lights

That was going to be my next question if it lights up the road good without blinding people or getting pulled over by the cops. and is it d.o.t. legal? and could you get the same results comparable to a vehicle with normal sealed beams? I got an 3 complete sets of flip up headlights to try it out on.

Never once got pulled over and I spent some time in Canada and drove around the USA (10k+ miles) and never once got pulled over for them. Got flashed once or twice, but wasn't constant. They are VERY not DOT legal. They aren't the same as normal sealed breams, veyr different pattern. I did the flood light type system, not a concentrated beam. The flip ups have nothing to do with the setup, my flips ups were modified in no way.

the plastic bezel around the headlight you can hog out a hole for lights making it look factory. I found a light that is 1" by 6" that uses H-3 bulbs so i also found a 1" by 3" fog lamp to fill the rest of the bezel. the bezel to use is the 82 to 84 firebird bezel which is just over an inch thicker and 10 inches width for the lights. I found this pic to help me set it up.

There are alot of things i want to do but just gotta watch the budget.
