Why so many F-bodies in Washington?

I was just in Seattle/Everett a few weeks back and I swear, I couldn't turn around without walking into an F-body! Mostly thirdgens, too! Any of you folks know why in the world there's so many? I mean, I'm down here in the south, where the Camaro is typically called 'the southern pride and joy' and their appearance here is only average.

Generally I think it is because we have rather mild weather, it is a descently afluent part of the US... and I think we have better taste then the rest of the country!

I am from Virginia, I just have one question. With all the rain, how do you keep the cinder blocks that the car is sitting on from sinking!

Re: Why so many F-bodies in Washington?

Several years ago our Camaro club (PNWCC) use to do an All Camaro show (back before the camaro was stopped being produced) & we use to get 200-300 Camaros packed in to the BBC parking lot.

Now we can bearly get 30 to 40 to show up to events.

We had 15 cars show up to an event to day & once again only 3-4 3rd gens.

Because a lot of the show people, expecially with 3rd and 4th gens, seem to be a "go with the trend" type of people, at least IMHO. It is always the latest and greatest, which doesn't exactly bring out the 3rd gens or even LT1 4th gens anymore.

We get first gens out more than the 4th gens. heck Yesterday we had more 1st gens than 4th gens.
& I do believe even more 3rd gens than 4th gens or the same number.

Of course we only had 2 2nd gens show up lol

LOL, I don't think 2nd gens have "come back" in the PNW as much as othe areas of the country. I still rarely see a nice second gen, but I see nice 1st gens all the time.

Re: Why so many F-bodies in Washington?

I saw a ton of second and third gen in Seattle and Everett, with only a few fourth gen and no first. Shoot, I rarely see a first gen down here.
