i need to rebuild my TB. does anyone know where i can obtain a kit? NAPA is a no-go. i am going to call a few more places, but thought i would ask .

When you find them let me know! I have a 88 TPI TB that has a bad throttle return spring on it, I'd rather fix it then just toss it.

If it's the kit that has the replacment bushings for the throttle shaft I got mine off of the GM dealership a number of years ago.
On a side note The throttle return spring was never very good in my opinion so I supplemented it with a carb return spring attached to the throttle cable bracket on the TPI plenum. works great and finally cured the wife's 'heavy-foot' problem!

thats what i ended up doing (the spring). the GM dealership told me no such kit existed.
