Hey There, I am trying to locate a pick-a-part near or off Whidey Island. The two in Oak Harbor don't seem to have any Third-Gens. Seems to be a rare find up here.
And for info. I am looking for a Left Fender for an '85 TA.
.oO(Had a disagreement with a wall)
there's a salvage yard in East Bremerton with a few thirdgens, maybe 4 or 5. It's right on 303. I believe there are some good fenders there.
If weekends is the only time you can get there, you're out of luck. They quit operating on Saturdays for some months now. Also quite a drive from Whidbey Island. Last time I was there I vaguely remember one 3rd gen bird which had both fenders in decent shape. I wasn't looking for body parts at the time.
Is Best Auto expensive?, and do they have many thirdgens? Eastside in east bremerton is expensive, IMO. For comparison, I consider a $25 blower motor expensive. It's usually cheaper to buy parts from Napa or from a thirdgen owner than from them, in my experience.
The best place I have found locally is the pick a part in Tumwater (just south of Olympia off of i-5, next to the Oly airport) they have a full row of 3rd gen Camaro or check the local craigslist.

It's not bad. I haven't been there in awhile so I don't know their 3rd gen selection.

Its like just down the road from me lol, They always normally have the parts I am looking for, Heck I still go looking for parts I dont need, AKA the Flashlight & over head consol
Tammy, I was actually replying to his question about Best Auto parts, you just happened to sneak your reply in there between mine and his I edited my post to add the Quote in there.

Yeah I smashed the left corner of my Bird. (For the Record its an '85 Trans Am) I completely smashed the headlight Assembly and all as well as the fender. I tried looking in the online sites but it seems that the parts for the Light are non-existant so I will be parts hopping.
I was looking more deeply inot my gaping eyewound to take a mental inventory of what I need and was surprised at the extent of the Damage the whole housing was shattered the only thing good is the motor.
I am going to be moving to a house with a garage here in Jan. So I will be able to pull the nose and straighten the bumper.
