how many watts do the MTX amps put out? I need something for two XTR 12's.

mtx thunder# ta564 puts out : 45 X 4 rms in 4 ohm, 90 X 4 rms into 2 ohm, 180 x 2 into 4 ohm, ---------280 X 2 bridged,so a total of 560 watts bridged is what you'll get, youll prolly get more than that even if you put a 2 ohm load on it. i should note is missing the trim plate over the gain knobs , but that in no way affects its performance...i think it stays cooler that way anyways.

mtx thunder #ta404 puts out: 35 X 4 rms into 4 ohm, 70 X 4 rms into 2 ohm, 140 X 2 rms into 4 ohms,200 X 2 bridged in 4 ohm,so a total of about 400 watts if you bridge it with a 4 ohm load. Again,if you load it with like A 2 ohm load itll put out even more then that.

Thats why i love my old phoenix gold ms 2125 amp, its supposedly only like 500 watts but if you drop the ohm load and make sure its got power itll crank twice that easily.(anybody have one of those...either a 2125 or 2250??? ill pay cash for another one..

its probhably about 10 or 12 years old now. Thats why its so cheap. It works fine, all channels work, cd player works good,am fm works good,typical wear on the buttons. plays cd great,even most cd-r's.
i think im going to make a page with pics of all my stuff. ill post a link to it when i git-r-done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
