i once saw a car in the junkyard with rancho shocks/struts and red springs. Didn't want to go through the effort to pull 'em since I've never heard of them being made for our cars and I was unsure of their quality..

I know alot of people with Cal-Tracs for leaf spring cars swear by them. I'm pretty sure Cal-Trac recomends them for use with their suspension setups.

Rancho made a ton of products for 2nd gens. Im not sure if they were out of the market before third gens hit or not.
Actually..i think they used to make adjustable sway bars for our cars..that would be a nice find

They use the rancho adjustable shocks in conjunction with the cal-tracs to dial in the suspension. I have a friend uses the rancho/cal-trac setup on their 69 firebird and are always in the 1.3 60fts and low 10's in the quarter.

I thought the same thing, but that's what cal-trec recommends and it does work! As they say if it ain't broke don't fix it...

I own a jeep, and lets just say, rancho is the God among 4WD suspension products. Now how good they are with cars, i dont know.

like alot of people said Rancho's main target is truck parts (suspensions and lifts) i have a 4" lift on my truck with there shocks all around and there products are great. They use to make shocks for our cars about 15-20 years ago but have been discontinued. My friend had a set on his 84 z and he loved them.

I purchased Rancho progressive rate lowing springs about 15 years ago and installed them on an 84 L69/T5 Z-28. They worked great with the Bilstein struts and shocks that were installed at the same time. Rancho used to make other great suspension parts but got out of that business several years ago.
