88 Camaro Back Halved Pro Street/Drag Car Project Car For Sale !!!SOLD!!!

88 Chevrolet Camaro Drag Car/Pro Street Project:

3rd Generation Camaro chassis with parts:

Chassis is back halfed very nicely with a 4 link rear suspension, has a 14 point roll cage, is mild steel (not chrome moly) chassis so it should certify to 8.50 (not currently certified). Has a custom built roll cage which clears factory doors and door panels and factory dashboard. Right now, it just a bare chassis, with no suspension or interior or drive train. But the expensive and hard work and fabrication is already done. has aftermarket rear frame rails and backhalf kit. Here are some details:

:Setup for 4 link suspension

:14 point roll cage

:Driveshaft loops front and rear

:Subframe connected with square tubing

:Floor Pan is patched and sealed

:Extra Deep aluminum rear tubs
:New 8 gallon Fuel Cell
:Battery Box mounted
:Window net mounts
:Most of the body is included
:Clean Title and Tags included
:Can be made street legal yet or drag
:Rear tubs and tinworks is all done and attached
:Back halved frame rails are 24" wide

Also includes a custom modified Subframe from a 3rd gen camaro which allows more room for lowering the engine and larger oil pan. And also has rebuilt lower control arm on it with poly busings installed and newer ball joints. It has a stock subframe installed on it currently.

Car Does not include...

Rear suspension rods, trailing arms, or 4 link components

No Rear axle assembly or gear set. Car had a Ford 9" in it at one time

Front steering, front struts, spindles, and suspension

seat, gauges, drivetrain, interior, and other odds and ends, etc...

I purchased this car and was going to install my 98 Z28 body and misc parts onto it and make one car, but the body will not work on the 88 frame without modifying the cage bars and other parts, So I have just decided to have my 98 Backhalved instead. This car is way to nice to cut up and install the back half onto my 98, so I have decided to sell it and let somebody else use it. The fabrication was done by a shop in Illinois. Comes with a clean Illinois title and tags. Car just needs assembly and some parts purchased and its ready to go. Car is not 100% rust free. it has some rust on the body and floors, but overall is a solid car yet.
