1987 Z28 Hardtop for sale rare options 5-spd $2100 OBO
As much as it hurts me to do this, I have to offer up my 87 Z28 for sale because I have a little one on the way.
Car is a Z28 that was clearly intended for racing since day one. Factory A/C delete, factory radio delete, 9 bolt rear end, 5 speed manual and the 305 TBI. (will post a pic of RPOs tomorrow)
I have done several upgrades to the car including bilstein struts, umi strut mounts, raybestos heavy duty front rotors and pads, new wheel bearings, 4 new silverstar headlights, and new cosmetic parts under the hood and inside the car. Car has a rebuilt carb (comes with original carb) and seems slightly out of tune, idles high and will stall on occasion but I have been daily driving the car lately and has never left me stranded.
Car spent its entire life in California until 2 years ago when I brought it to Ohio and is completely rust free, however the California sun has taken its toll on the paint.
The interior is completely mint except for a few big ticket items, namely the dash pad and the headliner. also needs a shift boot but has new carpet and the original vinyl seats/door panels in great condition and the hard to find radio delete plastics and ac delete dash.
This car is all numbers matching and I believe will be worth a lot one day if restored to original condition because of its options. below is some pics, as well as a link to my build thread to see what I have done to the car. I do need to upload some updated interior pictures as it is all back in now and looking great.
Im asking for $2100, I have far more than that invested into this car but need the money to start my family. I am offering the car here first because I want to find a good home for it, so please make any offers. I realize there are better looking ones for less on the board but not with these options or racing heritage. Thanks for looking.

Current engine bay with upgrades:
Exterior:
Interior (not current):
I really hope I can find someone who appreciates what this car is and can see my restoration through to the end. Feel free to reply to this thread, email me at ibleedchevyorange@gmail.com or call/text to 419-508-8714. Will get new pics up soon. Thanks for looking!
