They are all about 530 bucks so im trying to decide on one. The proform when I first saw it on my friends car made me drool the anodized purple looks sweet. The quickfuel is red and it looks pretty good too plus an electric choke. The holley street hp is polished zinc. Aside from looks whats everyones experience with them?? I like holleys are these the same as holleys and do they use the same parts? (jets, power valves, etc)?

ive been watchin the holley 750 hp's on ebay and the prices are droppin. you can get a new one for about 450

Out of my experience I would go with the Quick Fuel or Holley HP. The ProForm main body was designed by Marty Brown of Quick Fuel. All decent carbs but I have dealt with Quick Fuel a few times and have never been anything less than pleased. Holley is also a a decent carb out of the box. I never cared much for Proform because of the purple anodization.

well for looks the quickfuel has polished main body and its red and car is red. But aside from looks quickfuel and proform are the same? I'm just wondering i know about holleys im just wondering if these are direct copies they look the same but like jets, powervalves and stuff. one company im not going with is speed demon.

the link that you gave for the ss quick fuel carbs are holley I beleive. the Q series is what you want. I have never tried the SS carbs from them and probably never will unless I get something I am going to mod that will be driven in the winter. The Q series and Proform carbs use the same main body. also if you can find one used on Ebay or local you can send it in to them and tell them engine specs and inteded use and they will hook you up with the right combo for jets and power valves and air bleeds.

I to agree on the quick fuel Q series. I am running a q-850 now (super nice carb) I upgraded from the ss-750 which was nice but I had no need for the choke, I could never get it to run right in the AM with the choke so I turned it open and ran it like that. Other than the choke the ss-750 was a great carb, I would definatley choose it over the holley because it is assembled with every upgrade you can put on that holley out of the box and is about 6lbs lighter.

the q series is just too much $$. I think i might go with the street hp can't go wrong with a real holley. Just wished it had the cool anodized finish like the quickfuel

I bought a Quick Fuel 650 with annular boosters a couple of months ago from Carshop.inc for 528$. Very nice with that shiny finish. With down leg boosters it costs 485$.

I might go with a 650 750 might be too big. Putting the iroc away pretty soon though anyway

Holley’s in my opinion are the easiest to rebuild, good for performance but if you let them sit (or if I ever let them sit) for an extended amount of time I’d end up replacing parts or buying a new kit for it… I got a Quick fuel 830 and haven’t have a problem with It except killing some spark plugs from time to time, I’d defiantly recommend it, downside is their pricy but you get what you pay for to a point
