electric choke vs Manual Choke?
whats the difference?
i have a 86 sports Coupe 305 carb... my stock carb have a seriuos problem so i need to replace it... i was looking for a Edelbrock or something like that... but i dont know what exactly need...
What do you recommend??

I recommend you keep a carb like your stock one. If you don't rebuild what you have (assuming it has problems that would be fixed by a rebuild), get a rebuilt one like it.
I think I already asked you this before, don't recall seeing the answer: Which side is the car registered on, TJ or SD?

Also, to replace factory carb with aftermarket carb, you'll need a vacuum advanced distributor, and a method of lockling the torque converter if it's an automatic.
But an automatic choke is electric, a manual choke you have to run a cable inside the car to pull manually (like the choke on your lawn mower).
