350 Jasper Crate 14010207 high nickel block - ERIE PA
Block # 14010207/ with 207 on the passenger side of block. It’s an Vette, Camaro, Truck block.
Here is the info I could find on the block and intake.
Block Casting # is,
14010207 -
Corvette
'80: 350CID/190HP (2 bolt main) or 230HP (4 bolt), late production.
'81-'84: 350CID/190HP (2 bolt) all engines.
This block was used in 4 bolt configuration on '80-'85 350CID trucks as well as in 2/4 bolt Corvettes, as indicated above. The cast date (for year, check casting date located on driver side rear of block on flange forward of bell housing, i.e. "J070" is 10/7/80) could be important to Corvette restorers with engines built after 10/7, in the block's indicated year.
The Corvette Black Book states the following:
For 1980: block 14010207 = 350ci 190hp or 230hp late production
1981: block 14010207 = all
1982: block 14010207 = all
1984: block 14010207 = all
1985: block 14010207 = all
Intake casting # is,
14057053 –
4-Barrel Late Model Not Listed All 305 & 350 Aluminum passenger car Camaro and truck 1980 - 1985 This is same as the cast iron version, not bad on stock or near stock engine, Comparable to Edelbrock performer 2101 or 3701. Good junkyard find for replacing two barrel or cast iron manifold if you plan on using a Quadrajet Carb. Has good low end throttle response and midrange is ok, will not fit performer or Holley Carbs, not for racing, great for 305.
Heads casting # is,
462624,
1.94" / 1.50" 76cc basically from what I read, the worst heads every made, lol.
*** This is a running motor in my car as of right now if you’d like to hear it run. This is an old Jasper crate motor with documentation as well.
I’m looking to get $500 out of it.
Email me for more info or call 814-881-7110. Thanks!
Willing to part for L98 heads or Vortec heads, Vortec intake.
