Hello all,

I'm tired of hoarding this stuff, and I need it gone. I've organized all the parts that I have into kits to convert from TBI or TPI to carb. If nobody is interested in the complete kit, I will sell the parts seperately at the prices listed at the end of the post. All of this is top notch stuff that came off of my '87 Formula and '90 GMC Suburban that I converted from TBI to carburetor last year. It was an excellent running combination, but I ended up buying a 454 suburban that was already carbureted, so I don't need this stuff anymore. The pieces, pictures, and parts are listed as follows:

1. HEI Distributor
a. JEGS Distributor HEI Distributor (3 years old)
i. Original Paperwork included
b. NAPA Echlin Cap, Rotor, Coil, and Ignition Module (2 years old)
c. Petronix Mechanical Advance Curve Kit
i. Paperwork, instructions, and all extra springs and weights included
d. AC Delco Melonized Distributor gear (2 years old)
i. Non-melonized gear included


2. Rochester Quadrajet Carburetor
a. Remanufactured Carburetor
i. Chevy Truck, 350 auto, mid-80s, non-Computer controlled
b. Rebuilt in February
c. New Electric Choke (2 years old)
d. Electrical hookup for Electric Choke
e. Jetted for Vortech headed 350 with an LT1 cam


3. Air Cleaner
a. 14x2” K&N Element (2 years old)
b. Dropped Offset Base for large cap HEI (includes offset stud and wing nut)
c. Chrome “350 High Performance” Lid (1 year old)
d. Will clear Firebird hood with 3” element on stock intake, or 2” element on Weiand Street Warrior/Performer RPM height manifold.


4. Carburetor Mounting and Linkage
a. Quadrajet Heat Shield
b. Throttle Bracket (w/ TV Cable slot)
c. Throttle Return Springs and mount
d. Includes hardline and fitting for Power Brake Booster Vacuum Line
e. Includes Vacuum port fitting for manifold

5. Mechanical Fuel Pump Setup
a. Airtex Factory Style Mechanical Fuel pump for small block chevy
b. Hard line from fuel pump to carburetor (Rochester carb only)
c. Plate, bolts, and piston to mount mechanical fuel pump in block (must make certain that your block is machined for mechanical fuel pump)
4. It will still be necessary to source fittings and create fuel line to adapt factory fuel lines to the mechanical fuel pump supply and return fittings.
5. It will still be necessary to pull sending unit out of tank, remove electric fuel pump, and braze in a new pickup and strainer sock.



Includes All Items in TBI → Carburetor Conversion Kit plus:

1. Factory Carbureted Manifold Water Neck

2. 3rd Gen Carbureted Throttle Cable

3. Dayco Carbureted Upper Radiator Hose (2 years old)


1. Can substitute 600 cfm, electric choke, Edelbrock Performer Carburetor in place of Rochester Quadrajet for either package above, free of charge.
2. Will substitute ½” spreadbore to squarebore adapter and bolts necessary to install in lieu of heat shield and gaskets.

1. Can Substitute Factory ’86 HEI Distributor (factory coil, ignition module, cap, and rotor) for a rebate of $55.00 with either package.
2. Non-Melonized Distributor Gear ONLY

There has been some question as to what all is included in the fuel pressure regulator setup. The following chart details the part numbers and original price of all the fittings that are included, already assembled, in this setup. This does not include the price of the regulator, which is $99.50 new.

Fuel pressure regulator setup is sold. I can still send with mechanical pump linkage. I also still have the TBI electric fuel pump.
